COBBLE HILL |
The Cobble Hill 2007 - 2008 collection has arrived and is proving very popular. Many different sizes and themes have been introduced this year.
The work
of popular artist D. R. Laird features in all the different categories.
There are new styles of his images which include a family puzzle called
Dragon Hunters and two puzzles with oversize pieces
Coming Home and
Mother
and Daughter. There are also skating scenes for which he is well known,
Backyard Heroes and
Family Skate both with 500 pieces . The mythical theme continues with Ancient Dragon Scholar, and Sir Lancelot Meets Sir Tarquine in the 1000 piece size, and Ice Dragon King in the 500 piece size.
There are new titles in the Canadian artist collection including Heina and Wolf Canyon shown on the left. |

Just as we were about to send out the
newsletter the 2008 Jumbo / Falcon Sneak Peek Collection came through the
door! There is a new 1500 piece puzzle from Jan Van Haasteren called The Storm which will delight his fans. It is full of amusing antics and will have you chuckling. Among the other new arrivals are two
Christmas themed puzzles,
Midnight Visitor and
Christmas Carriage. Howard
Robinson's Animals In The Snow has a collection of wild animals who live
in a winter habitat, and cat lovers are sure to be enchanted by
Kitten and
Cotton. |

of licensed pop music puzzles has just arrived.
There are three titles from the legendary Beatles: Abbey Road, Sergeant Pepper and Yellow Submarine. Also featured is Pink Floyd's 2004 Calendar Cover and The Rolling Stones Dragon. All the puzzles have 1000 pieces and would look great laminated and displayed in your home or office. |

The Fall additions to the White Mountain collection are now in stock.
There are two stunning images of fighter plane by Randy Green. The B-17 Bomber is from the second World War, while the F-16 Fighter became known as the Bosnia Buzzard for its work in the Bosnia - Herzegovina strife in the mid 1990's.
There is a new series of images reproduced from the Hollywood Legends US Postage stamp series. They are all 1000 piece puzzles, and are 24" x 36", poster size. Movie buffs will enjoy the portraits of Marilyn Monroe, James Dean and John Wayne. |

| Looking for a socking stuffer that
will keep idle hands and minds busy? Try them with the latest brainteaser
puzzle. The Inversion
Puzzle is a 3-Dimensional sliding puzzle with a high
difficulty rating. It will turn you upside down before you can turn it
inside out! Each cube of the puzzles has three red and three blue faces. By sliding one cube at a time, hide the faces of one color while revealing the other color, ultimately changing the cube from red to blue or visa versa. The Ravensburger Sneak Peek collection is due mid-December, and is something we look forward to each year. This week is the expected arrival date for the Matchitecture NYFD Fire Truck. We have been waiting for it since mid July. Let's hope there will be no further delay! There are two new Portapuzzle puzzle carriers on their way. These are for 1000 and 1500 piece puzzles. These have a Velcro closing system instead of the zip which features in the deluxe version.. |
