**** A Look Back
At 2007 ****
|
As the year draws to a close, let's
review what was popular in 2007.
Even though there were no new releases in the
Wrebbit 3D puzzle line this year, the large piece count puzzles continued
to top the best sellers for 2007, with Venice and San Francisco at the top
of the list. Sadly these and many more have been discontinued. We wait to
see if there will be any 3D puzzles next year.
Cartoon puzzles by
Jan
Van Haasteren and the
delightful Thomas
Kinkade images have been the strongest sellers this year. The latest
from Jan van Haasteren,
The Storm which has only been available for a few
weeks is proving to be one of his best ever. Puzzles from the well known
artist
Pauline Paquin as well as Christmas
puzzles also continue to be popular.
Many people are taking the challenge of the
24000 Life the Greatest Puzzle. I hope you all enjoy the experience of
putting it together as much as we did. Another great challenge has been
the Gordian's Knot.
The Deluxe Portapuzzle with zip has been the
most popular method of storing and carrying puzzles and the 2 standard
versions introduced late this year, particularly the 1500 piece size have
been well received.
Game of the year goes to "Tock", with
the 4 player version topping the rankings, and the most popular craft kits
were the paint by number kits
Holiday Village and
Afternoon
Nap. |
