April brings longer days and
the return of the migrating birds to signal that Spring is around the
corner. After a long snowy Winter, it is very welcome indeed. This time of
year also brings the arrival of many new collections. There are some
wonderful new puzzles for you to enjoy. Read on for all the latest
news.
Mother's Day is only a month away. Are you looking for
something special to give Mom this year? There are many wonderful

The remainder of the 2008 Jumbo
collection has just arrived and is ready to ship.
For cartoon and Wasgij fans there is a real

Hidden Xtra series, Gone Bananas
to challenge you and a limited edition 500 piece puzzle from Jan Van
Haasteren The
Opening, to celebrate the opening of the new factory in Holland. The
new 1500 piece puzzle from Jan Van Haasteren, The Golf
Course which we have been eagerly awaiting has also
arrived.
Joan Steiner artwork features for the first
time, and brings a new challenge to the puzzle world. Look carefully at
the images as nothing is what it seems. Everyday objects can be seen
masquerading as something else. How many imposters can you find in Trump's General
Store, Santa's
Workshop, Grandma's
Kitchen or The
Nutcracker?
There are new additions to the Deco collection
with the sculptured border. You can choose from Proud as a
Peacock or Santa's
List, and to complete this year's collection there are two foil
stamped puzzles from popular artist Karl Bang, The Fawn and The

The 2008 Educa collection is here and
brings a variety of exciting new puzzles ranging from 500 pieces to 6000
pieces.
Spectacular landscapes feature across the range
and include panoramic puzzles of Venice and
Sidney
with 1000 pieces and Mitchell Falls,
Australia with 2000 pieces. Hawaii, The Seychelles
and New
Zealand's Parakuani Falls are amongst the other new
arrivals.
Popular artists have had additions to their
collections. Howard Behrens has a 1000 piece image, Café
Ravello, and in the 1500 piece range there is L'Anticio
Sigillo by Victor Shvaiko.
There are new additions to the World's smallest
1000 piece puzzle collection. Images such as Beers, Da Vinci's
World and Sea of Life
that are popular in regular sizes are now available in the miniature
format.
For the larger piece count, we have a 4000
piece puzzle of Autumn in the
Dolomites, a 6000 piece Ancient World
Map and the largest challenge this year is the 10,000 piece La Rendition de
Breda by Velazquez.
For those of you who like to preserve your
puzzles, there is a new puzzle glue
from Educa. This economical bottle has a sponge applicator and will cover
6 regular 1000 piece puzzles. |

Once again this month a few new titles
have arrived.
There is a new 550 piece very colorful series
called Wit and Whimsy which includes titles such as Knightingale
and Summersault,
and there are three new puzzles with a mid west cowboy theme featuring
artwork from well known American artists. Larry Fanning's Beans Du Jour
has 1000 pieces, while Wet Paints by
Jack Sorensen and Home From The
Fair by Jack Terry have 750 pieces. |

In the next few days we look forward
to the arrival of the 2008 collection of puzzles from F. X. Schmid which
has a great new additions to the 300 piece easy handling range. Also on
their way are Clementoni, Piatnik, Buffalo Games and a new line from
Masterpieces.
Not to forget the children, the Ravensburger
junior collection will soon be available, and there are new paint by
numbers kits and brainteasers to offer you new
challenges. |
